Mouse Glypican 4 ELISA Kit

A sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (sELISA) from Antibodies.com enables the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Glypican 4 in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates and other biological fluids. The kit employs a 96-well microplate pre-coated with an antibody specific for Glypican 4; standards and test samples are added and the captured target is detected with a Biotinylated Anti-Glypican 4 Antibody followed by an HRP-Avidin conjugate. The HRP-catalysed reaction is visualised using TMB substrate, producing a yellow product whose intensity is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

The assay has a sensitivity of <16.8 pg/ml and a quantitative range of 31.2–2000 pg/ml, with a total run time of 4 hours 30 minutes. Spike-and-recovery in undiluted samples averages 91% in serum (range 80–102%, n=5), 90% in EDTA plasma (range 81–100%, n=5) and 84% in heparin plasma (range 80–89%, n=5). Linearity has been demonstrated at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions across all three matrices. Kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed and the reagents must not be used past the stated expiration date.
