Mouse Glycine Dehydrogenase ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (ELISA) kit is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse glycine decarboxylase (the catalogue listing also refers to the target as glycine dehydrogenase) in tissue homogenates, cell lysates, or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate to which standards and test samples are added; bound target is detected using a biotinylated anti-glycine decarboxylase antibody, HRP-avidin conjugate and TMB substrate, with absorbance read at 450 nm in a colorimetric microplate reader.

The reported assay range is 0.156–10 ng/ml with a sensitivity of <0.063 ng/ml, and the total incubation time is 4 hours 30 minutes. Sample recovery was assessed across five replicates per matrix: serum averaged 91% (range 80–102%), EDTA plasma averaged 90% (range 81–100%), and heparin plasma averaged 84% (range 80–89%). Dilution linearity was also tested at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions across the same sample types.

Kit components include a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 × 8-well strips, two vials of lyophilized standard, 120 µl each of detection solutions A and B, 20 ml of 30× wash buffer, 45 ml of sample dilution buffer, 9 ml of TMB substrate, 6 ml of stop solution and five adhesive plate sealers. The wash buffer, TMB substrate and stop solution are stored at +4 °C, with the plate, lyophilized standard, sample dilution buffer and detection solutions stored at −20 °C. The kit should not be used past its expiration date.
