Mouse Glyceraldehyde-3-Phosphate Dehydrogenase ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Antibodies.com for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Glyceraldehyde-3-Phosphate Dehydrogenase (GAPDH) in tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate format and employs a biotinylated anti-GAPDH antibody in combination with an HRP-avidin conjugate. Detection is based on TMB substrate conversion, producing a blue product that turns yellow after addition of acidic stop solution. Absorbance is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader and GAPDH concentration is calculated from a standard curve. Total assay time is 4h 30m, with a reported sensitivity of <0.055 ng/ml and a product range of 0.156-10 ng/ml.

The kit is suitable for cell lysates, tissue homogenates and cell culture supernates. Reported recovery averages are 91% in serum (range 80%-102%, n=5), 90% in EDTA plasma (range 81%-100%, n=5) and 84% in heparin plasma (range 80%-89%, n=5). Dilution linearity has been reported at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions as 87-91%, 87-107%, 74-101% and 92-97% for serum; 90-105%, 84-101%, 90-101% and 79-108% for EDTA plasma; and 84-95%, 92-105%, 82-105% and 89-91% for heparin plasma.
