Mouse Glutathione S Transferase Alpha 4 ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) from Antibodies.com designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Glutathione S Transferase Alpha 4 (GSTA4) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated microplate (12 x 8 well strips) and follows an immunoassay workflow in which standards and samples are added to antibody-coated wells, followed by washing and incubation with a Biotinylated Anti-GSTA4 Antibody. An HRP-Avidin conjugate is then added, and TMB substrate is used to visualise the enzymatic reaction, producing a blue colour that changes to yellow after addition of acidic stop solution. Absorbance is read at 450 nm in a colorimetric microplate reader and the GSTA4 concentration is calculated by reference to the standard curve.

The reported product range is 15.6-1000 pg/ml with a sensitivity of <6.5 pg/ml, and the total assay time is 4h 30m. Kit components should be stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed and the kit must not be used past its expiration date. Reported spike-and-recovery across sample matrices was: Serum n=5 range 80%-102% (average 91%); EDTA Plasma n=5 range 81%-100% (average 90%); Heparin Plasma n=5 range 80%-89% (average 84%). Dilution linearity was also reported at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions across Serum, EDTA Plasma and Heparin Plasma samples (n=5 each).
