Mouse Glutathione S Transferase Alpha 1 ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Glutathione S Transferase Alpha 1 (GSTA1) in serum, plasma and other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips) and is run on a colorimetric microplate reader, with absorbance measured at 450 nm. A biotinylated anti-GSTA1 antibody, an HRP-avidin conjugate, and TMB substrate generate a yellow product whose intensity is proportional to GSTA1 concentration and is calculated against a standard curve.

The kit reports an assay range of 0.312–20 ng/ml with a sensitivity of 0.129 ng/ml and a total run time of 4 hours 30 minutes. Validated sample matrices include serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma, with reported recovery averages of 91%, 90% and 84% (ranges of 80–102%, 81–100% and 80–89%, n=5), along with dilution linearity data at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16.
