Mouse Glutamate Receptor, Ionotropic, AMPA 4 ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Glutamate Receptor 4 (GluA4) in tissue homogenates, cell lysates, and other biological fluids. The assay uses an antibody specific for Glutamate Receptor 4/GluA4 pre-coated onto a 96-well microplate, with detection via a biotinylated anti-GluA4 antibody and HRP-avidin conjugate, visualised using TMB substrate and read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

The kit has a stated product range of 0.156–10 ng/ml and a sensitivity of <0.073 ng/ml. The total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes.

Reported recovery values in spiked samples (average, n=5) are 91% for serum (range 80–102%), 90% for EDTA plasma (range 81–100%), and 84% for heparin plasma (range 80–89%). Dilution linearity across 1:2 to 1:16 dilutions is documented for serum (74–107%), EDTA plasma (79–108%), and heparin plasma (82–105%) based on n=5 measurements per matrix.
