Mouse Glutamate Dehydrogenase 1 ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Antibodies.com for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse GLUD1 (Glutamate Dehydrogenase 1) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, or other biological fluids. The assay employs an antibody specific for GLUD1 pre-coated onto a 96-well microplate. Standards and samples are added to the wells; bound GLUD1 is detected with a Biotinylated Anti-GLUD1 Antibody followed by HRP-Avidin conjugate. TMB substrate is catalysed to a blue product that turns yellow upon addition of acidic stop solution, and absorbance is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

Reported sensitivity is <0.07 U/L with an assay range of 0.156–10 U/L. Recovery for serum (n=5) was 80–102% (average 91%), EDTA plasma (n=5) 81–100% (average 90%), and heparin plasma (n=5) 80–89% (average 84%). Dilution linearity from 1:2 to 1:16 is reported across the three sample types, with serum (n=5) at 87–91%, 87–107%, 74–101%, 92–97%; EDTA plasma (n=5) at 90–105%, 84–101%, 90–101%, 79–108%; and heparin plasma (n=5) at 84–95%, 92–105%, 82–105%, 89–91%.

The assay is run on a pre-coated microplate platform and takes approximately 4 h 30 min. Kit components should be stored at +4°C or −20°C as instructed, and the kit must not be used past its expiration date.
