Mouse Glutamate Decarboxylase 1, Brain ELISA Kit

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) kit is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Glutamate Decarboxylase 1, Brain (GAD67) in tissue homogenates and other biological fluids. The assay is run on a pre-coated 96-well microplate configured as 12 x 8 well strips and is read on a colorimetric microplate reader at 450 nm.

Standards and samples are captured by an immobilised anti-GAD67 antibody, then detected with a biotinylated anti-GAD67 antibody followed by an HRP-Avidin conjugate. TMB substrate produces a yellow product whose intensity is proportional to the GAD67 concentration in each well. Recovery data are reported for serum (range 80%–102%, average 91%, n=5), EDTA plasma (81%–100%, 90%, n=5) and heparin plasma (80%–89%, 84%, n=5), with linear dilution performance given across 1:2 to 1:16 for each matrix.
