Mouse Glutamate Cysteine Ligase, Modifier Subunit ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA is intended for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Glutamate Cysteine Ligase, Modifier Subunit (GCLM) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips, with an antibody specific for GCLM immobilised on the plate. Standards and samples are added to the wells, followed by a biotinylated anti-GCLM detection antibody and an HRP-avidin step; TMB substrate is then used to visualise the enzymatic reaction, producing a yellow colour read at 450 nm in a colorimetric microplate reader.

Reported assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes, with a sensitivity of <0.063 ng/ml and a measuring range of 0.156–10 ng/ml. Spike-and-recovery values are reported for serum (range 80%–102%, average 91%), EDTA plasma (range 81%–100%, average 90%) and heparin plasma (range 80%–89%, average 84%). Dilutional linearity is provided for serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions.

Kit components include the pre-coated microplate, lyophilised standard, detection solutions A and B, wash buffer, sample dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution and plate sealers. Components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed, and the kit should not be used past its expiration date.
