Mouse Glutamate Cysteine Ligase, Catalytic ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA kit from Antibodies.com for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse GCLC (Glutamate Cysteine Ligase, Catalytic) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates and other biological fluids. The assay runs on a pre-coated 96-well microplate configured as 12 x 8 well strips, with detection carried out colorimetrically by reading absorbance at 450 nm in a microplate reader. An antibody specific for GCLC is pre-coated onto the plate; standards and samples are captured by this antibody and detected using a biotinylated anti-GCLC antibody, an HRP-avidin conjugate and TMB substrate, yielding a yellow-coloured product whose intensity is proportional to GCLC concentration.

Reported sensitivity is <0.118 ng/ml and the quantitative range is 0.312–20 ng/ml, with a total assay time of 4 hours 30 minutes. Recovery across sample matrices spans 80%–102% for serum, 81%–100% for EDTA plasma and 80%–89% for heparin plasma, while linearity across dilutions ranges from 74% to 108% depending on sample type.
