Mouse Glucose-6-Phosphatase, Catalytic ELISA Kit

Antibodies.com provides a sandwich ELISA kit designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Glucose-6-Phosphatase, Catalytic (G-6-Pase) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The kit is supplied with a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips and produces a colorimetric readout measured at 450 nm using a microplate reader.

The assay reports a sensitivity of <0.52 ng/ml and an assay range of 1.56–100 ng/ml. It follows a sandwich immunoassay format in which captured G-6-Pase is bound by a biotinylated anti-G-6-Pase antibody, then detected using an HRP-avidin conjugate and TMB substrate; the reaction yields a yellow product after addition of an acidic stop solution whose absorbance is proportional to G-6-Pase concentration. Total assay time is approximately 4 hours 30 minutes.

Kit components include the pre-coated plate, lyophilized standard, detection solutions A and B, 30X wash buffer, sample dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution and adhesive plate sealers. Spike-and-recovery validation in mouse samples (n=5) reports average recoveries of 91% (range 80–102%) in serum, 90% (range 81–100%) in EDTA plasma and 84% (range 80–89%) in heparin plasma. Components should be stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed and the kit must not be used past its expiration date.
