Mouse Glucagon Like Peptide 1 Receptor ELISA Kit

A sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) from Antibodies.com is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Glucagon Like Peptide 1 Receptor (GLP-1R) in tissue homogenates, cell lysates, and other biological fluids. An antibody specific for GLP-1R is pre-coated onto a microplate, and captured GLP-1R is detected using a Biotinylated Anti-GLP-1R Antibody, HRP-Avidin conjugate, and TMB substrate. The reaction produces a blue colour that changes to yellow after addition of acidic stop solution, and absorbance is read at 450 nm with concentration calculated against a standard curve.

The quantitative sandwich assay has a reported sensitivity of <0.046 ng/ml and an assay range of 0.156–10 ng/ml, with a total run time of 4 hours 30 minutes. Reported average recovery values (n=5) are 91% for serum (range 83–100%), 96% for EDTA plasma (range 90–103%), and 95% for heparin plasma (range 89–102%). At dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8, and 1:16 (n=5 each), reported recoveries are: serum 83–110%, 79–100%, 90–98%, and 82–108%; EDTA plasma 90–98%, 90–105%, 73–109%, and 87–91%; heparin plasma 88–103%, 77–105%, 95–98%, and 87–110%. Detection is colourimetric on a pre-coated microplate platform, with kit components stored at +4°C or −20°C as instructed.
