Mouse Glial Cell Line Derived Neurotrophic Factor ELISA Kit

Manufactured for the in vitro quantitative measurement of mouse Glial Cell Line Derived Neurotrophic Factor (GDNF), this sandwich ELISA from Antibodies.com is designed to determine the target in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids.

The assay employs a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips) and uses a biotinylated anti-GDNF detection antibody followed by an HRP-avidin conjugate and TMB substrate, with absorbance read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader. Reported product range is 78.1–5000 pg/ml with a sensitivity of <28 pg/ml, and the total assay time is approximately 4 hours 30 minutes. Mean recovery values provided are: serum (n=5) 80–102% (average 91%), EDTA plasma (n=5) 81–100% (average 90%), and heparin plasma (n=5) 80–89% (average 84%), with dilution linearity ranges stated for 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions across the same sample types.
