Specific for GDNF with no reported cross-reactivity with other analogs or variants, the kit provides a product range of 4.688-300 pg/mL and a sensitivity of 2.813 pg/mL. Serum and plasma samples should be diluted at least 1:2 with Sample Dilution Buffer prior to testing, with validated dilutions including healthy serum (1:2) and mouse brain tissue lysate (1:2). Reported recovery averages are 97% for serum, 90% for EDTA plasma, and 94% for heparin plasma, with an easy-to-follow protocol.
