Mouse Gastrin ELISA Kit

This Antibodies.com competitive Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (cELISA) is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Gastrin in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The microplate platform comprises 12 x 8 well strips pre-coated with Gastrin antigen, and detection relies on a Biotinylated Anti-Gastrin Antibody used with an HRP-Avidin conjugate. Signal is generated with TMB substrate, read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader, with absorbance inversely proportional to Gastrin concentration.

The assay has a stated product range of 15.6–1000 pg/ml and a sensitivity of <4.26 pg/ml, with a total run time of 2 hours 30 minutes. Spike-and-recovery across sample matrices averaged 91% for serum (range 80–102%, n=5), 90% for EDTA plasma (81–99%, n=5) and 84% for heparin plasma (80–89%, n=5). Provided components include the pre-coated 96 well microplate, lyophilized standard, detection reagents, wash buffer, sample dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution and plate sealers; kit components are stored at +4°C or −20°C as instructed, and the kit is shipped for use before its expiration date.
