Mouse Gamma-Endorphin ELISA Kit

Manufactured for Antibodies.com, this competitive Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (cELISA) is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse gamma Endorphin in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The assay uses a competitive enzyme immunoassay technique, employing a pre-coated microplate with immobilised gamma Endorphin antigen and a Biotinylated Anti-gamma Endorphin Antibody. Detection is achieved with an HRP-Avidin conjugate and TMB substrate, producing a blue product that turns yellow after addition of acidic stop solution; absorbance is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

The kit reports a sensitivity of <5.5 pg/ml and an assay range of 15.6–1000 pg/ml, with a total assay time of 2 hours 30 minutes. Reported recovery values are 80–102% for serum (average 91%), 81–100% for EDTA plasma (average 90%), and 80–89% for heparin plasma (average 84%). Components should be stored at +4°C or –20°C as instructed and the kit must not be used past its expiration date.
