Mouse Galectin 3 ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Galectin 3. The kit is validated for use with serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids.

The quantitative immunoassay uses a pre-coated 96-well microtiter plate to capture Galectin 3 from standards and samples. A biotinylated anti-Galectin 3 detection antibody binds the captured analyte, and an HRP-avidin conjugate together with TMB substrate produces a colour change that is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader. The concentration of Galectin 3 is calculated by reference to a standard curve. The product range is 78.1-5000 pg/ml with a sensitivity of 29 pg/ml. Kit components should be stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed.
