Mouse Galectin 12 ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) enables the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse GAL12 (Galectin 12) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated microplate, a biotinylated anti-GAL12 detection antibody, an HRP-avidin conjugate and a TMB substrate, with the colour change read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

Quantitative performance specifications include a standard range of 31.2–2000 pg/ml and a sensitivity of <14.5 pg/ml. Reported average recovery values are 91% in serum, 96% in EDTA plasma and 95% in heparin plasma (n=5 each, with individual ranges of 83–100%, 90–103% and 89–102% respectively). Dilution linearity was assessed at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 in the same three matrices, with reported values falling between 73% and 110%. The full protocol completes in 4h 30m.
