Mouse G-CSF ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) from Antibodies.com designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse G-CSF in cell culture supernatant, serum, and plasma. The kit is based on the quantitative sandwich ELISA technique, using a monoclonal antibody specific for mouse G-CSF immobilised on microwells. Standard or samples are pipetted into the wells, followed by a biotin-linked monoclonal antibody specific for G-CSF, with streptavidin-HRP added for a second incubation. After washing, substrate solution reacts with HRP and colour develops in proportion to the amount of G-CSF bound by the immobilised antibody; colour development is stopped with acid and the optical density is measured on a microplate reader.

The assay can measure both native and recombinant mouse G-CSF and has shown no significant cross-reactivity. The quantitative assay range is 62.50 - 4000 pg/ml, with a sensitivity of 1.26 pg/ml and an average recovery of 97% from serum samples. Detection is colorimetric on a microplate platform, and the kit should be stored at +4°C and not used past the expiration date.
