Mouse FYN Oncogene Related To SRC/FGR/YES ELISA Kit

Available from Antibodies.com, this sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (sELISA) is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Fyn (FYN Oncogene Related To SRC/FGR/YES) in tissue homogenates, cell lysates, or other biological fluids. The assay employs a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips) bearing an antibody specific for Fyn. Standards and samples are added to the wells, and following incubation and washing, a Biotinylated Anti-Fyn Antibody and HRP-Avidin conjugate are added sequentially. TMB substrate is then used to visualise the HRP enzymatic reaction, producing a blue colour that changes to yellow upon addition of acidic stop solution, with the yellow density read at 450 nm in a microplate reader and proportional to the amount of Fyn captured in each well.

Performance characteristics include a sensitivity of <0.115 ng/ml, an assay range of 0.312-20 ng/ml, and a total assay time of 4h 30m. Reported average recovery values are 91% for serum (n=5), 90% for EDTA plasma (n=5), and 84% for heparin plasma (n=5). Linearity of dilution has been assessed at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 in serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma. Kit components should be stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed, and the product should not be used past its expiration date.
