Mouse Follistatin Like Protein 3 ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Follistatin Like Protein 3 (FSTL3) in serum, plasma, and other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate in a 12 x 8 well strip format, with colourmetric detection read at 450 nm in a microplate reader.

The assay employs a sandwich immunoassay format in which an immobilised anti-FSTL3 antibody captures FSTL3 from standards and samples, followed by a Biotinylated Anti-FSTL3 Antibody and an HRP-Avidin conjugate. TMB substrate produces a blue product that turns yellow upon addition of stop solution; absorbance at 450 nm is proportional to FSTL3 concentration. Reported sensitivity is 6.1 pg/ml and the standard curve range is 15.6-1000 pg/ml. Total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes, and kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed. Average spiking recovery across n=5 samples per matrix is 91% for serum, 90% for EDTA plasma, and 84% for heparin plasma.
