Mouse FK506 Binding Protein Like Protein ELISA Kit

The Antibodies.com Mouse FK506 Binding Protein Like Protein ELISA Kit is a sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse FKBPL in tissue homogenates, cell lysates, or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips) and is read colorimetrically on a standard microplate reader.

The sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique is employed. An antibody specific for FKBPL is pre-coated onto the plate, and standards or test samples are added so that FKBPL is captured by the immobilized antibody. After washing, a biotinylated anti-FKBPL antibody is added, followed by an HRP-avidin conjugate. TMB substrate is then used to visualise the enzymatic reaction, producing a blue product that turns yellow upon addition of the acidic stop solution. Absorbance is read at 450 nm and FKBPL concentration is calculated by reference to the standard curve.

The kit reports a sensitivity of <0.35 ng/ml and a working range of 0.781-50 ng/ml, with a total assay time of 4 hours 30 minutes. Validation data include recovery ranges of 80%-102% for serum, 81%-100% for EDTA plasma and 80%-89% for heparin plasma samples. Linearity of dilution was assessed at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 (n=5), with serum samples giving recovery ranges of 87-91%, 87-107%, 74-101% and 92-97% at the respective dilutions. Kit components include a pre-coated 96-well microplate, lyophilized standard, detection solutions A and B, wash buffer, sample dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution and plate sealers, stored at +4°C or -20°C as indicated. The kit must not be used past its expiration date.
