Mouse Fibroblast Growth Factor Receptor 3 ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (ELISA) from Antibodies.com, designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Fibroblast Growth Factor Receptor 3 (FGFR3) in tissue homogenates, cell lysates, or other biological fluids.

The assay employs a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips. Standards and samples are added to the wells, where FGFR3 is captured by the immobilised antibody. A biotinylated anti-FGFR3 antibody then binds the captured target, followed by addition of an HRP-avidin conjugate. A TMB substrate is used to visualise the enzymatic reaction, producing a blue colour that turns yellow upon addition of acidic stop solution. Absorbance is read at 450 nm in a microplate reader and referenced to a standard curve. Total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes. Reported sensitivity is <0.057 ng/ml, with an assay range of 0.156-10 ng/ml. Detection is colorimetric.

Recovery data are provided for serum (80%-102%, average 91%), EDTA plasma (81%-100%, average 90%), and heparin plasma (80%-89%, average 84%), together with dilution linearity data at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8, and 1:16 across the same sample types. Kit components include a pre-coated microplate, lyophilised standard, detection solutions A and B, wash buffer, sample dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution, and adhesive plate sealers. Components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed, and the kit should not be used past its expiration date.
