Mouse Fibroblast Growth Factor 9 ELISA Kit

The assay is validated for serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids, and is read on a colorimetric microplate reader at 450 nm after incubation with TMB substrate and acidic stop solution.

The assay has a stated product range of 15.6–1000 pg/ml and a sensitivity of <6.6 pg/ml, with a total run time of 4 hours 30 minutes. Kit components are stored at +4°C or −20°C as instructed, and reagents must not be used past the stated expiration date.

Spike-and-recovery testing gave an average of 91% in serum (n=5, range 80–102%), 90% in EDTA plasma (n=5, range 81–100%) and 84% in heparin plasma (n=5, range 80–89%). Dilution linearity was assessed at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions with reported recoveries of 87–91%, 87–107%, 74–101% and 92–97% for serum (n=5); 90–105%, 84–101%, 90–101% and 79–108% for EDTA plasma (n=5); and 84–95%, 92–105%, 82–105% and 89–91% for heparin plasma (n=5).
