Mouse Fibroblast Growth Factor 3 ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Fibroblast Growth Factor 3 (FGF3) in serum, plasma or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips. Standards and samples are added to the wells, and captured FGF3 is detected using a biotinylated anti-FGF3 antibody followed by an HRP-avidin conjugate. The TMB substrate reaction produces a blue product that turns yellow upon addition of the acidic stop solution, and absorbance is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader to determine FGF3 concentration against the standard curve.

The stated assay range is 15.6–1000 pg/ml with a sensitivity of 5.5 pg/ml, and the total protocol time is 4h 30m. Reported average recovery across samples (n=5) is 91% for serum (range 80%–102%), 90% for EDTA plasma (range 81%–100%) and 84% for heparin plasma (range 80%–89%). Linearity across 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions is reported as 87–91%, 87–107%, 74–101% and 92–97% for serum; 90–105%, 84–101%, 90–101% and 79–108% for EDTA plasma; and 84–95%, 92–105%, 82–105% and 89–91% for heparin plasma.
