From Antibodies.com, this Mouse FGF15 ELISA Kit is a sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse fibroblast growth factor 15 (FGF15) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates, and other biological fluids. The assay uses a 96-well microplate pre-coated with an antibody specific for FGF15, with detection via a biotinylated anti-FGF15 antibody and an HRP-avidin conjugate. The enzymatic reaction is visualised with TMB substrate, producing a colour change whose intensity is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader and referenced against a standard curve.

The kit's reported product range is 31.2–2000 pg/ml with a sensitivity of 12.4 pg/ml. Total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes. Reported average recovery values are 91% for serum, 96% for EDTA plasma, and 95% for heparin plasma.
