Mouse Fibroblast Growth Factor 13 ELISA Kit

This sandwich ELISA from Antibodies.com is designed for the quantitative in vitro determination of mouse Fibroblast Growth Factor 13 (FGF13) in serum, plasma, or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips, with an immobilised antibody specific for FGF13, and employs a biotinylated anti-FGF13 antibody together with an HRP-avidin conjugate visualised using TMB substrate. Absorbance is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

The reported assay range is 31.2–2000 pg/ml with a sensitivity of <13.6 pg/ml, and the total assay time is approximately 4 hours 30 minutes. Recovery values supplied by the manufacturer average 91% in serum, 96% in EDTA plasma, and 95% in heparin plasma (n=5), and linearity has been characterised at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions across the same sample types.
