Mouse Fibroblast Growth Factor 12 ELISA Kit

This sandwich ELISA kit from Antibodies.com is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Fibroblast Growth Factor 12 (FGF12) in serum, plasma, and other biological fluids. It employs the sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique using a microplate pre-coated with an antibody specific for FGF12. Standards and samples are added to the wells where FGF12 is captured by the immobilized antibody, followed by incubation with Biotinylated Anti-FGF12 Antibody and HRP-Avidin conjugate. TMB substrate then produces a blue-coloured product that changes to yellow upon addition of acidic stop solution. The density of yellow, proportional to the amount of FGF12 captured, is read at 450nm in a microplate reader and the concentration is calculated from a standard curve.

The assay has a sensitivity of 6.3 pg/ml and a detection range of 15.6-1000 pg/ml. Kit components include a pre-coated microplate, lyophilized standard, detection solutions A and B, wash buffer, sample dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution, and plate sealers. Components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed, and the total assay time is approximately 4h 30m. The kit is intended for research use only.
