Mouse Fibroblast Growth Factor 11 ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA kit from Antibodies.com designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Fibroblast Growth Factor 11 (FGF11) in serum, plasma or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips, with an antibody specific for FGF11 immobilised on the wells. Standards and samples are added, followed by Biotinylated Anti-FGF11 Antibody and an HRP-Avidin conjugate. TMB substrate produces a blue product that turns yellow upon addition of stop solution, with absorbance read at 450 nm. The reported sensitivity is <7.2 pg/ml, with an assay range of 15.6–1000 pg/ml, and a total assay time of 4h 30m.

Manufacturer recovery data indicate average values of 91% in serum (range 83–100%, n=5), 96% in EDTA plasma (range 90–103%, n=5), and 95% in heparin plasma (range 89–102%, n=5). Linearity was demonstrated across serial dilutions (1:2, 1:4, 1:8, 1:16) for serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma.
