Mouse Fibrinogen Beta ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Fibrinogen beta Chain in plasma. An antibody specific for the target is pre-coated onto a 96-well microtiter plate configured as 12 x 8 well strips. Standards and samples are added to the wells, followed by a Biotinylated Anti-Fibrinogen beta Chain Antibody and an HRP-Avidin conjugate. The enzymatic reaction is visualised with TMB substrate, producing a blue-coloured product that changes to yellow upon addition of the acidic stop solution; absorbance is read at 450 nm in a colorimetric microplate reader, and the concentration of Fibrinogen beta Chain is calculated by reference to the standard curve.

The assay has a reported sensitivity of 0.059 ng/ml and a range of 0.156-10 ng/ml, with a total assay time of 4h 30m. Supplied components include the pre-coated 96-well microtiter plate, two vials of lyophilised standard, Detection Solution A (120 µl), Detection Solution B (120 µl), 30X Wash Buffer (20 ml), Sample Dilution Buffer (45 ml), TMB Substrate (9 ml), Stop Solution (6 ml) and five adhesive plate sealers. Components are stored between +4°C and -20°C as instructed, and the kit should not be used past its expiration date.
