Mouse Ferroportin ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) from Antibodies.com is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Ferroportin (SLC40A1) in tissue homogenates, cell lysates or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips, with quantification performed by reading absorbance at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader. The assay has a stated sensitivity of <0.055 ng/ml and a product range of 0.156–10 ng/ml, with a total run time of 4 hours 30 minutes.

Recovery has been evaluated across serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma matrices. Reported recovery ranges are 80%–102% (n=5, average 91%) for serum, 81%–100% (n=5, average 90%) for EDTA plasma, and 80%–89% (n=5, average 84%) for heparin plasma. Linearity has also been characterised at sample dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 for each of these sample types.

Kit contents include the pre-coated microtitre plate, lyophilised standard, Detection Solution A, Detection Solution B, 30X Wash Buffer, Sample Dilution Buffer, TMB Substrate, Stop Solution and plate sealers, with storage temperatures varying by component between +4°C and -20°C.
