Mouse Fatty Acid Binding Protein 5, Epidermal ELISA Kit

An antibody specific for FABP5 is pre-coated onto a 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips). Standards and test samples are added; captured FABP5 is then bound by a Biotinylated Anti-FABP5 Antibody, followed by an HRP-Avidin conjugate. TMB substrate is added and the enzymatic reaction is stopped with acidic stop solution; absorbance is read at 450 nm in a colorimetric microplate reader [S1]. The stated assay range is 0.156–10 ng/ml with a sensitivity of <0.054 ng/ml, and total assay time is approximately 4 h 30 min [S1].
