Mouse Fatty Acid Binding Protein 4, Adipocyte ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) from Antibodies.com for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Fatty Acid Binding Protein 4, Adipocyte (FABP4) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates and other biological fluids.

Detection is performed on a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips) using a biotinylated anti-FABP4 detection antibody and an HRP-Avidin conjugate. The enzymatic reaction is developed with TMB substrate and read at 450 nm. Total assay time is 4h 30m, with a reported sensitivity of <14.5 pg/ml and a quantitative range of 31.2–2000 pg/ml. Kit components are stored at +4°C or –20°C as instructed.

Spike-and-recovery validation in mouse serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma gave average recoveries of 84–91%. Dilution linearity was demonstrated from 1:2 to 1:16 across serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma.
