Mouse Fatty Acid Binding Protein 2, Intestinal ELISA Kit

Offered under the Antibodies.com brand, this sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Intestinal Fatty Acid Binding Protein (I-FABP). It is reactive with mouse samples and accepts serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids.

The procedure employs a pre-coated microplate together with a biotinylated anti-I-FABP detection antibody and an HRP-avidin conjugate, with TMB substrate generating a colour change that is read at 450 nm. The manufacturer-stated product range is 0.156–10 ng/ml, the sensitivity is 0.063 ng/ml and the total assay time is 4 h 30 min.

Manufacturer-reported spike-and-recovery values are 80%–102% (average 91%) in serum, 81%–100% (average 90%) in EDTA plasma and 80%–89% (average 84%) in heparin plasma. Dilution-linearity ranges at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions are also documented for each of these sample types in the product literature.
