Mouse Estrogen Receptor Beta ELISA Kit

A sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (sELISA) from Antibodies.com designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Estrogen Receptor beta in tissue homogenates, cell lysates or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated microplate (12 x 8 well strips) with results read by a colorimetric microplate reader at 450 nm. The reported product range is 0.312–20 ng/ml with a sensitivity of <0.142 ng/ml, and the total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes.

The principle employs an antibody specific for Estrogen Receptor beta pre-coated onto the plate, followed by incubation with Biotinylated Anti-Estrogen Receptor beta Antibody and an HRP-Avidin conjugate. TMB substrate is used to visualise the HRP enzymatic reaction, producing a blue product that changes to yellow upon addition of acidic stop solution; the density of yellow is proportional to the amount of Estrogen Receptor beta captured. Kit components include a pre-coated 96 well microplate, lyophilized standard (2 vials), detection solution A (120 μl), detection solution B (120 μl), 30X wash buffer (20 ml), sample dilution buffer (45 ml), TMB substrate (9 ml), stop solution (6 ml) and plate sealers (5 adhesive strips), to be stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed.

Manufacturer-supplied recovery data cover serum (range 80–102%, average 91%, n=5), EDTA plasma (range 81–100%, average 90%, n=5) and heparin plasma (range 80–89%, average 84%, n=5), with dilution linearity reported across 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions for each matrix. The kit is suitable for cell lysates and tissue homogenates.
