Mouse Erythropoietin ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay from Antibodies.com designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Erythropoietin (EPO) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate and a biotinylated anti-EPO antibody with HRP-Avidin detection, visualised using TMB substrate solution. Absorbance is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader, and the concentration of EPO is calculated by reference to a standard curve.

The reported sensitivity is <2.65 pg/ml and the assay range is 6.25-400 pg/ml. Total assay time is 4h 30m. Spike-and-recovery performance is reported at an average of 91% for serum (n=5, range 80-102%), 90% for EDTA plasma (n=5, range 81-100%) and 84% for heparin plasma (n=5, range 80-89%). Linearity on dilution has been evaluated at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 for serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma (n=5 each).

Kit components include a pre-coated microplate, lyophilised standard, Detection Solutions A and B, Wash Buffer (30X), Sample Dilution Buffer, TMB Substrate, Stop Solution and plate sealers. Components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed, and the kit should not be used past its expiration date.
