Mouse Epiregulin ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this Mouse Epiregulin ELISA Kit is a sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Epiregulin in serum, plasma or other biological fluids. Reactivity is Mouse, with detection performed using a colorimetric microplate reader.

The assay employs the sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique, using a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips) bearing an antibody specific for Epiregulin. Standards and test samples are added to the wells, and captured Epiregulin is detected with a Biotinylated Anti-Epiregulin Antibody followed by an HRP-Avidin conjugate. TMB substrate solution produces a blue-coloured product that changes to yellow after addition of acidic stop solution; the density of yellow is proportional to the amount of Epiregulin captured. The concentration of Epiregulin is calculated from the O.D. absorbance at 450 nm read against a standard curve. Sensitivity is <6.4 pg/ml and the assay range is 15.6–1000 pg/ml, with a total assay time of 4h 30m.

Kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed, and the kit must not be used past its expiration date. The kit is validated for serum and plasma samples, with documented recovery in serum (n=5, range 80%–102%, average 91%), EDTA plasma (n=5, range 81%–100%, average 90%) and heparin plasma (n=5, range 80%–89%, average 84%). Sample dilution recovery data are provided at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 for each sample type.
