Mouse Epidermal Growth Factor Receptor ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (ELISA) is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Epidermal Growth Factor Receptor (EGFR) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates and other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate configured as 12 x 8 well strips; standards and samples are captured by an immobilised anti-EGFR antibody, detected with a biotinylated anti-EGFR antibody plus HRP-Avidin, and visualised with TMB substrate. Absorbance is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

Performance specifications include an assay range of 31.2–2000 pg/ml, a sensitivity of <14.2 pg/ml and a total assay time of 4h 30m. Reported matrix recovery (n=5) is 80%–102% (average 91%) for serum, 81%–100% (average 90%) for EDTA plasma and 80%–89% (average 84%) for heparin plasma.

Kit components include a pre-coated 96-well microplate, lyophilised standard, Detection Solution A, Detection Solution B, 30X Wash Buffer, Sample Dilution Buffer, TMB Substrate, Stop Solution and plate sealers.
