Mouse Ephrin Type B Receptor 3 ELISA Kit

A sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (sELISA) for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Eph Receptor B3 in tissue homogenates or other biological fluids, the Antibodies.com Mouse Ephrin Type B Receptor 3 ELISA Kit uses a pre-coated microplate with an antibody specific for Eph Receptor B3. Standards and samples are added to the wells and bound by the immobilised antibody. After washing, a Biotinylated Anti-Eph Receptor B3 Antibody is added, followed by an HRP-Avidin conjugate. TMB substrate produces a blue product that turns yellow upon addition of acidic stop solution; the absorbance is read at 450 nm and the concentration is calculated from a standard curve.

Performance characteristics include a sensitivity of <0.051 ng/ml and an assay range of 0.156–10 ng/ml, with a total assay time of 4h 30m. Detection is colorimetric, performed on a microplate reader, and components are stored at +4°C or –20°C as instructed. In spiked recovery testing (n=5), average recovery was 91% in serum (range 80–102%), 90% in EDTA plasma (range 81–100%) and 84% in heparin plasma (range 80–89%). Dilution linearity across 1:2 to 1:16 dilutions is reported for serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma samples.
