Mouse Ephrin B2 ELISA Kit

This sandwich ELISA kit from Antibodies.com is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Ephrin B2 in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates or other biological fluids. The assay uses the sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique on a microplate pre-coated with an antibody specific for Ephrin B2. Standards and test samples are added to the wells and Ephrin B2 present in each sample is bound by the immobilized antibody. Following incubation and washing, a Biotinylated Anti-Ephrin B2 Antibody is added, which binds the captured Ephrin B2 in each well. An HRP-Avidin conjugate is then added, and after further incubation and washing, TMB substrate solution is used to visualize the HRP enzymatic reaction, producing a blue-coloured product that changes to yellow upon addition of acidic stop solution.

The colour intensity is read as O.D. absorbance at 450nm in a colorimetric microplate reader, with the yellow density proportional to the amount of Ephrin B2 captured. The assay has a product range of 0.156–10 ng/ml and a sensitivity of 0.054 ng/ml. The platform is a pre-coated microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips, and total assay time is 4h 30m. Kit components should be stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed, and the kit should not be used past its expiration date. Reactivity is specific to mouse samples.
