The Mouse EPX ELISA Kit employs a pre-coated microplate platform with a colorimetric detection method: an antibody specific for EPX is immobilised on the plate, captured EPX is detected using a biotinylated anti-EPX antibody and an HRP-avidin conjugate, and the enzymatic reaction is visualised with TMB substrate before absorbance is read at 450 nm on a microplate reader. The total assay time is 4h 30m.

The kit provides a quantitative measurement range of 31.2-2000 pg/ml and a sensitivity of <12.9 pg/ml. Recovery has been validated across multiple sample matrices, with average recoveries of 91% in serum, 90% in EDTA plasma and 84% in heparin plasma. Kit components should be stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed, and the kit should not be used past its expiration date.
