Mouse Eosinophil Chemotactic Factor ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) from Antibodies.com designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Eotaxin in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates or other biological fluids.

The kit employs a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips) and the sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique. An antibody specific for Eotaxin is immobilised on the plate; standards and samples are added, followed by a Biotinylated Anti-Eotaxin Antibody and HRP-Avidin conjugate. Detection is colourimetric using TMB substrate, with absorbance read at 450 nm. Total assay time is 4h 30m.

The reported product range is 31.2-2000 pg/ml with a sensitivity of 13.9 pg/ml. Components should be stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed. Spike-and-recovery performance in serum averaged 91% (range 80-102%, n=5), in EDTA plasma averaged 90% (range 81-100%, n=5) and in heparin plasma averaged 84% (range 80-89%, n=5). Eotaxin is also known by the synonyms C-C motif chemokine 11, CCL11, Eosinophil chemotactic protein, SCYA11 and Small-inducible cytokine A11.
