Mouse Enolase, Neuron Specific ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA kit from Antibodies.com enables the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse NSE/ENO2 (Neuron-Specific Enolase) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips) with a biotinylated detection antibody and HRP-Avidin, producing a colourmetric signal measured at 450 nm. Total assay time is approximately 4 hours 30 minutes, with the plate read on a standard colorimetric microplate reader.

The standard curve spans 0.156–10 ng/ml and the reported sensitivity is <0.069 ng/ml. Spike-and-recovery validation (n=5 per matrix) returned averages of 91% for serum (range 80%–102%), 90% for EDTA plasma (range 81%–100%), and 84% for heparin plasma (range 80%–89%). Dilution linearity across 1:2 to 1:16 was demonstrated for serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma. Supplied components include a lyophilized standard, detection reagents A and B, 30X wash buffer, sample dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution and adhesive plate sealers, stored at +4°C or –20°C as instructed.

The kit is intended for sandwich ELISA applications with mouse reactivity, targeting Neuron-Specific Enolase (ENO2).
