Mouse Endothelin 1 ELISA Kit

A competitive Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (cELISA) from Antibodies.com is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Endothelin 1 in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The kit is reactive with mouse and targets the Endothelin 1 protein.

The standard curve covers 7.81–500 pg/ml with a sensitivity of 2.45 pg/ml, read on a Colorimetric Microplate Reader at 450 nm. The assay uses a pre-coated microplate to which a Biotinylated Anti-Endothelin 1 Antibody binds competitively with Endothelin 1 in samples or standards; an HRP-Avidin conjugate and TMB substrate then produce a yellow product whose intensity is inversely proportional to Endothelin 1 concentration. Total assay time is approximately 2 h 30 min.

Reported neat-sample recoveries are serum 80–102% (average 91%, n=5), EDTA plasma 81–100% (average 90%, n=5) and heparin plasma 80–89% (average 84%, n=5), with dilution linearity (1:2 to 1:16) reported across these same matrices. Components supplied include a pre-coated plate, lyophilised standard, Detection Solutions A and B, Wash Buffer, Sample Dilution Buffer, TMB Substrate, Stop Solution and Plate Sealers, stored at +4°C or -20°C as indicated.
