Mouse Endosulfine Alpha ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse ENSA (Endosulfine Alpha) in tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The assay employs a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips) bearing a capture antibody specific for ENSA, followed by incubation with a Biotinylated Anti-ENSA Detection Antibody and an HRP-Avidin conjugate. Signal is visualised using TMB substrate, producing a blue colour that turns yellow upon addition of acidic stop solution, with absorbance read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

The kit demonstrates a sensitivity of <0.065 ng/ml and an assay range of 0.156–10 ng/ml. Total assay time is 4h 30m, and reagents are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed. Reported average recovery values are 91% for serum (range 80–102%), 90% for EDTA plasma (range 81–100%) and 84% for heparin plasma (range 80–89%), with linearity retained across 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions.
