Mouse Endoglin ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Antibodies.com for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Endoglin (also referred to as CD105) in tissue homogenates, cell lysates and other biological fluids. The kit uses a pre-coated microplate in 12 x 8 well strip format and is run as a colorimetric assay read with a microplate reader at 450 nm.

Reported assay range is 0.625–40 ng/ml with a sensitivity of <0.227 ng/ml and a total assay time of 4h 30m. The manufacturer states that standards and samples are captured by an immobilised anti-CD105 antibody, detected with a biotinylated anti-CD105 antibody followed by an HRP–avidin conjugate, and visualised with TMB substrate; following incubation and washing an acidic stop solution is added and the absorbance at 450 nm is read against a standard curve. Kit components are stored at +4 °C or −20 °C as instructed and must not be used past the expiration date.

Spike-and-recovery data supplied by the manufacturer list mean recoveries of 91% (range 80–102%, n=5) for serum, 90% (range 81–100%, n=5) for EDTA plasma and 84% (range 80–89%, n=5) for heparin plasma. Linearity across 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions is reported for serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma.
