Mouse Endocrine Gland Derived Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor ELISA Kit

This sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) from Antibodies.com is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse EG-VEGF (Endocrine Gland Derived Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates or other biological fluids. The plate is pre-coated with an antibody specific for EG-VEGF, and bound analyte is detected with a biotinylated anti-EG-VEGF antibody and HRP-Avidin conjugate, with TMB substrate producing a colour change read at 450 nm.

Stated performance specifications include a measuring range of 15.6-1000 pg/ml and a sensitivity of <6.7 pg/ml, with reactivity specific to mouse. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips) with a total run time of 4h 30m on a colourimetric microplate reader.

Validation samples of serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma (n=5 each) returned recovery averages of 91%, 91% and 84% respectively, with linear dilution behaviour tested from 1:2 to 1:16 across the same matrices.
