Mouse Elastase 2A ELISA Kit

This sandwich ELISA from Antibodies.com enables quantitative measurement of mouse CELA2A (elastase 2A) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates and other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate and is read colorimetrically at 450 nm.

Sample CELA2A is captured by an immobilised antibody, bound by a biotinylated anti-CELA2A detection antibody, and visualised with an HRP-avidin conjugate and TMB substrate. The reaction yields a yellow product whose absorbance is proportional to analyte concentration, allowing quantification against a standard curve. Reported sensitivity is 12.8 pg/ml and the working range is 31.2–2000 pg/ml, with a total incubation time of approximately 4 hours 30 minutes.

Spike-and-recovery validation across five replicates gave average recoveries of 91% in serum (range 83–100%), 96% in EDTA plasma (90–103%) and 94% in heparin plasma (90–99%). Kit components are stored at +4 °C or –20 °C as indicated, and the kit should not be used past the stated expiry date.
