Mouse Egl Nine Homolog 1 ELISA Kit

This sandwich ELISA kit from Antibodies.com is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse PHD2 (Prolyl Hydroxylase, also referred to as Egl Nine Homolog 1) in tissue homogenates, cell lysates or other biological fluids.

The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips) and employs the sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique. Standards and samples are added to the wells and the captured analyte is detected using a biotinylated anti-PHD2 antibody followed by an HRP-avidin conjugate. TMB substrate produces a colour change proportional to analyte concentration, which is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader. The stated product range is 0.312–20 ng/ml with a sensitivity of <0.108 ng/ml. Total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes. Reported recovery values are: serum n=5, range 80%–102%, average 91%; EDTA plasma n=5, range 81%–100%, average 90%; heparin plasma n=5, range 80%–89%, average 84%. Dilution linearity data are reported for serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma at dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16.
