Mouse Early Growth Response Protein 1 ELISA Kit

Available from Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Early Growth Response Protein 1 (Egr1) in tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The 96-well microplate is pre-coated with an antibody specific for Egr1 and is arranged as 12 x 8 well strips. Captured Egr1 is detected using a biotinylated anti-Egr1 antibody followed by an HRP-avidin conjugate, with TMB substrate producing a colour change read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

The total assay time is 4h 30m. The manufacturer reports a sensitivity of 0.058 ng/ml and an assay range of 0.156-10 ng/ml. Kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed, and the kit should not be used past its expiration date.

Manufacturer validation data show average recovery in serum (n=5) of 91% (range 80-102%), in EDTA plasma (n=5) of 90% (81-100%), and in heparin plasma (n=5) of 84% (80-89%). Linearity was demonstrated across dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8, and 1:16 for all three sample types.
